Naadam is a traditional festival in Mongolia and the term means "the three games of men.” The games are Mongolian wrestling, horse racing, and archery. The festival is held from 11th July to the 15th of July and is known as the biggest festival in the country. July is mid of summers so the weather is very pleasant and bloomy.
In the past, the participants of sports were used to be males only, but since the last ten years, females are participating in archery and horse racing. In 2010, the Naadam festival of Mongolia was emblazoned on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity of UNESCO.
